Program suggestions:
Art programs
Hockey for girls
Jazzercise in the summer – thank you
Maybe a class sampler where people could come out and sample a class that is going to be offered in the next term at the rec centre so they can “test drive” it before signing up
Commonwealth Place
Nice and caring people
Pleasant, helpful staff
Colour excitement and music – something to draw people to the spot to partake in a shared experience
Maybe a farmers market and a market for artisans and crafters
Neighbourhood not central, too much bureaucracy.
Program Suggestions:
More aerobics, more Chad
Variety of fitness classes, have been offering the same for years
Yoga as part of regular pass
More drop in activities like basketball, soccer, ball hockey
We need a warm pool by Pearkes, old farts like me have hip and knee problems and poor circulation and the other pools are just too cold for me now. I was fine until I was about 60, then I got almost hypo-thermic in a regular pool. More seniors are coming!
